Our Initial Repair Service (Mail-In) is the first step in getting your electronic device back up and running. This charge covers the initial assessment and diagnosis of the device once it arrives at our facility. Our experienced technicians will carefully inspect your device to identify the issue and provide a detailed quote for the repair. This initial service fee ensures that your device receives the attention it needs to be properly diagnosed and repaired. Once the diagnostic process is complete, we will contact you with a quote for the necessary repair work before proceeding.

  • Device Repair Policy:

    Thank you for choosing Jewelry Care Center for your device repair needs. Before submitting your device for repair, please carefully read and acknowledge our policy:

    • Initial Fee and Service Commencement:

      • To initiate the repair process, a non-refundable initial fee of $25 is required. This fee covers the initial assessment and administrative costs associated with processing your repair request.

      • Upon payment of the initial fee, you authorize us to proceed with diagnosing and assessing the condition of your device.

    • Device Shipment:

      • It is the responsibility of the customer to securely package and ship the device to our designated repair facility.

      • We shall not be held liable for any damage or loss that occurs during transit to our facility.

    • Assessment and Quotation:

      • Upon receiving your device, our technicians will conduct a thorough assessment to diagnose the issues and determine the repair requirements.

      • We will provide you with a detailed quotation outlining the estimated cost of repairs based on our assessment.

      • You will have the option to approve or decline the quotation before any repair work commences.

    • Payment and Repair Process:

      • Once you approve the quotation, we will proceed with the repair work upon receipt of full payment for the estimated cost of repairs.

      • An invoice will be sent to you via email, which includes the breakdown of charges and payment instructions.

      • Payment methods will be provided upon receiving our email.

      • Repair turnaround time may vary depending on the complexity of the issue and availability of parts.

    • Completion and Return Shipment:

      • Upon completion of the repair work, we will promptly notify you and provide details of the return shipment.

      • The device will be securely packaged and shipped back to the address provided by you during the repair request process.

      • You are responsible for any shipping charges associated with the return shipment.

    • Warranty Information:

      • We offer a 30-day warranty on the parts we install during the repair process.

      • The warranty covers only the parts we have installed and does not extend to any pre-existing components or subsequent damage.

      • If the parts we install have been damaged outside of our facility, the warranty is void, regardless of any reason that is outside of our care.

    • Limited Liability:

      • While we strive to provide the highest quality repair services, we cannot guarantee the functionality or condition of your device following repairs.

      • We shall not be held liable for any pre-existing damage, data loss, or subsequent issues arising from the repair work performed.

      • Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair services provided.

    By submitting your device for repair and paying the initial fee, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
